Another Successful Fire Marshall Course

Davenheath held another successful Fire Marshall Course on Tuesday 19th March 2013 at The Gestalt Centre in London. Delegates from many different businesses attended, one in particular who had first hand experienced a fire within their business premises.
Electrical fault sparks fire that destroys Co-op shop

A Co-op store in Waterlooville, Hampshire, was decimated by a fire that rapidly took hold.
The blaze, which started on Saturday afternoon on 5 January, required fire crews to remain at the scene until Sunday, damping down to prevent the fire from reigniting.
Fashion retailer fined for fire safety offences
Fashion retailer Jack Wills Limited has been fined £27,000 after pleading guilty to six offences under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The case – heard at York Magistrates Court on 13 December – followed an inspection by fire safety officers in January 2011, when a notification of deficiencies was issued to the company to improve fire safety standards and management.
Olympic Response Team!

Responding to your Fire and Security needs is as important to us as always, even more so over the next couple of months.
To meet the challenges of providing customers with a normal service during the Olympic road restrictions and to respond rapidly to emergency call outs, Davenheath Limited have set up their own Olympic Response Motor Bike Team.
Lithuanian ‘Shepherd’s Inn’ Restaurant comes to Town

Famous Lithuanian restaurant group ‘Shepherd’s Inn’ is opening soon in Leytonstone High Road, E11. Davenheath are proud to be involved in the new development and have designed and installed a new FIKE fire alarm system and Texecom Intruder alarm. Davenheath also carried out a Fire Risk Assessment prior to the install. All of this was achieved within a timeframe of 2 weeks!

Welcome to our New Look

Davenheath decided it was about time to have a ‘facelift’! We hope you like the new look; the logo took shape slowly. It was mentioned that we should try to keep some of the old diamond shape and have a logo that was separated from our name…… the result is that of three triangular D’s interwoven, each with their own colour to represent our three specific divisions of the business, Fire, Security and Electrical.

FIKE, formerly known as Rafiki, are manufacturers of Fire Alarm systems.
FIKE instigated a reorganization on how their equipment was to be released into the market place. This included cutting back the outlets from which their equipment was available. They also required any supplier of their equipment to be capable of giving technical back up and after sales service.
