Planned preventative maintenance is a proactive maintenance strategy that prevents unexpected equipment and machinery failures through regular scheduled inspections, services, and repairs. Which is why it is also referred to as scheduled maintenance.
Mascott provide a proactive PPM for all customers. Dedicated administrative staff provide scheduled visits per annum which would include some or all of the following aspects ensuring you remain compliant.
- Fire alarm test and inspection and certification to BS5839
- Weekly fire alarm sounder test
- AOV (automatic opening vent) functionality tests
- Emergency Light drain down tests
- Monthly Emergency Light ‘flick’ tests
